We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Grant Proposal Writer to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing compelling and persuasive grant proposals to secure funding for our vital programs and initiatives globally. You will work closely with program teams, financial officers, and senior leadership to gather information, articulate our impact, and meet the specific requirements of various funders, including institutional donors, foundations, and government agencies. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, and government agencies that align with Save the Children's strategic priorities.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, reports, and other donor communication materials in English.
• Collaborate with program staff, technical advisors, and finance teams to gather necessary information, data, and budgets for proposals.
• Ensure all proposals adhere to funder guidelines, requirements, and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Save the Children's programs, impact, and strategic goals.
• Assist in the development of project logic models, theories of change, and results frameworks.
• Review and edit proposals written by other team members for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of all grant submissions and outcomes within our internal systems.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to strategy development for grant acquisition.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a proven ability to write compelling and persuasive grant proposals.
• Demonstrated experience in successful grant writing for non-profit organizations, preferably within international development.
• Strong research skills to identify and vet potential funding opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to synthesize complex information from various sources into clear, concise, and engaging narratives.
• Proficiency in using grant management software and CRM systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different time zones.
• Understanding of common donor requirements and compliance standards (e.g., USAID, European Commission, UN agencies, major foundations).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Experience working with major institutional donors such as USAID, FCDO, European Commission, SIDA, GFFO, etc.
• Knowledge of child protection, health, education, or humanitarian response sectors.
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Arabic) is a plus.
• Experience in a remote work environment.
