We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sociology Intern to join our remote data team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply sociological theories and research methodologies to real-world data analysis. You will contribute to projects focused on understanding social trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics through a sociological lens. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a diverse international team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of qualitative and quantitative data relevant to sociological research.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis using statistical software and interpret findings from a sociological perspective.
• Contribute to the development of research questions and methodologies for data-driven projects.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations on research findings for internal stakeholders.
• Support the team in literature reviews and theoretical frameworks relevant to social data analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists and market researchers to integrate sociological insights into broader analyses.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity, adhering to ethical research guidelines.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Sociology, Social Sciences, Anthropology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sociological theories and research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative).
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, SPSS, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
