We are seeking an experienced and strategic Hybrid E-Commerce Category Manager to lead the growth and profitability of specific product categories within the English market segment of our online retail operations. This role is crucial for developing and executing category strategies, optimizing product assortment, pricing, promotions, and overall customer experience to drive sales and market share. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce dynamics, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in category management within a fast-paced retail environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies for the English market, aligned with overall business objectives and e-commerce goals.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle within assigned categories, from selection and procurement to pricing, merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and optimize existing product offerings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, inventory turnover, and conversion rates, taking proactive measures to achieve targets.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable deals, ensuring product availability and profitability.
  • Optimize product listings, content, and visual merchandising on the e-commerce platform to enhance customer engagement and conversion.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on category performance to senior management, recommending strategic adjustments as needed.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in E-commerce Category Management or a similar role within a retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability in an online retail setting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g., PIM, analytics dashboards).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
