We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Hybrid AI Prompt Engineer to join our cutting-edge AI team in Cottbus, Germany. This role is crucial for optimizing the performance and applicability of our advanced AI models, particularly those involved in language generation and understanding. You will be responsible for crafting, testing, and refining prompts to elicit precise and high-quality outputs from large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI systems. This hybrid role requires a presence in our Cottbus office for collaborative sessions and direct interaction with the engineering teams, while also offering flexibility for remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and iterate on high-quality prompts for various AI models to achieve desired outputs and functionalities.
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prompts, analyzing model responses for accuracy, relevance, and bias.
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, software engineers, and product managers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into product development.
• Develop and maintain a robust library of effective prompts and prompt engineering guidelines.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, particularly in prompt engineering techniques.
• Document prompt designs, testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
• Train and mentor other team members on effective prompt engineering strategies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Demonstrated experience in crafting effective prompts for large language models (e.g., GPT, Bard, Llama).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex AI model behaviors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for linguistic nuance.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation and data analysis.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML).
