We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our English-speaking team in Zurich. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites, working closely with software engineers, product managers, and other QA specialists. Your expertise will directly impact the user experience and the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using industry best practices.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and define test strategies for new features.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Provide clear and concise bug reports and status updates.
• Mentor junior QA team members and share knowledge.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
