Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team in Ratingen. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a diverse portfolio of international events, ranging from conferences and trade shows to internal meetings and client engagement programs. Your expertise will ensure seamless event delivery, reflecting Siemens‘ commitment to excellence and innovation on a global stage. This position requires fluency in English and a strong ability to manage complex logistics across different cultures and time zones.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and budgets for international conferences, seminars, workshops, and corporate meetings.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor negotiation (catering, AV, accommodations, transport), delegate registration, and on-site management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments and global regions to define event objectives and content.
  • Manage event communications, including invitations, registration pages, and post-event follow-ups, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and prepare reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Travel internationally as required to oversee event execution and build relationships with global partners and suppliers.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, specifically with international events.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for international communication.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work with diverse international teams and audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in an additional major European language (e.g., German, Spanish, French).
