We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations in Landshut, Germany. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of our vehicle fleet, supporting our extensive logistics network. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of fleet maintenance, procurement, compliance, and driver management, contributing significantly to our operational excellence. This position requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of vehicle fleets, and the ability to communicate effectively in an English-speaking environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Oversee the daily operations of the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
• Develop and implement fleet maintenance schedules, coordinating with internal workshops and external service providers.
• Manage vehicle procurement, registration, and disposal processes, adhering to budget constraints and company policies.
• Ensure full compliance with all local and international transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle performance, and maintenance costs, implementing strategies for cost reduction.
• Manage and maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle specifications, service history, and driver assignments.
• Supervise and provide training to drivers on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
• Implement and manage telematics systems for fleet tracking, optimization, and reporting.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and audits to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support their transport needs and optimize logistics operations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role within a logistics or transportation company.
• Strong technical knowledge of various vehicle types (trucks, vans) and their maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and telematics systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, essential for an international team.
• Valid driver's license (Class C/CE preferred).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification in Fleet Management (e.g., NAFA, FTA).
• Knowledge of German transportation laws and regulations (StVO, StVZO).
• Experience with sustainable fleet management practices and electric vehicles.
• Additional language skills, particularly German.
