We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant with a strong background in International GAAP and IFRS to join our dynamic team in Herisau. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for our diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and providing expert advice on international accounting standards. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Manage general ledger operations, including reconciliations and journal entries, in compliance with International GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for multinational clients.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and insights into financial records.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional accounting role.
• Demonstrable expertise in International GAAP and IFRS.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal communication is essential; no other languages required).
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, Swiss CPA equivalent).
