We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Manager to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. In this pivotal role, you will be the voice of ESL Gaming, fostering a vibrant and engaged community around our esports titles and events. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and moderating online and offline interactions, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all fans. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop and execute comprehensive community strategies to increase engagement, retention, and growth across various platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the community, responding to inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and moderate community channels (forums, social media, Discord, Twitch chat, etc.) to ensure adherence to community guidelines and foster positive interactions.
- Create engaging content, including announcements, updates, contests, and discussions, tailored to specific community platforms.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, social media, content, and event teams to align community initiatives with broader company goals.
- Identify and engage with community influencers, content creators, and key opinion leaders to amplify reach and engagement.
- Collect and analyze community feedback, providing actionable insights to internal teams for product and service improvements.
- Organize and facilitate online and offline community events, meetups, and fan activations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, community management best practices, and the latest gaming/esports news.
- Prepare regular reports on community sentiment, growth, and engagement metrics.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in community management, preferably within the gaming, esports, or entertainment industry.
- Native-level fluency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Deep passion for gaming and esports, with an understanding of various game genres and competitive scenes.
- Demonstrated experience managing online communities across multiple platforms (Discord, Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, forums).
- Strong understanding of online community dynamics, moderation techniques, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to create compelling and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with community management tools and analytics platforms.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with live event support and fan interaction.
- Knowledge of additional languages, especially German, is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
- Experience in data analysis and reporting on community metrics.
