Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Educational Technologist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the learning experience for students and faculty by integrating advanced educational technologies. You will provide expertise in instructional design, support the effective use of our Learning Management System (LMS), and explore new technological solutions to meet evolving educational needs. This position requires a passion for both technology and pedagogy, with a strong commitment to improving teaching and learning outcomes.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Collaborate with faculty to design, develop, and implement technology-enhanced learning experiences.
• Provide expert consultation on instructional design principles and best practices for online, hybrid, and blended learning environments.
• Manage and support the university's Learning Management System (LMS), including user training and technical assistance.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new educational technologies and tools that align with pedagogical goals.
• Develop and deliver workshops, tutorials, and training materials for faculty and staff on various EdTech platforms and strategies.
• Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in educational technology and integrate relevant advancements into our practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software and hardware.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of university-wide educational technology initiatives.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard).
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience with multimedia development tools for educational content (e.g., video editing, graphic design).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced academic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital learning materials.
