Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and English-speaking Hydrogen Storage Researcher to join our innovative R&D team in Baden-Baden. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both on-site at our state-of-the-art research facility and remotely. You will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding and development of next-generation hydrogen storage technologies, contributing to key projects aimed at optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field, with a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to scientific excellence.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Conduct experimental research on novel materials and systems for hydrogen storage, including solid-state, liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs), and compressed gas technologies.
  • Design and execute laboratory experiments, ensuring data accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Analyze experimental results using advanced data processing and simulation tools.
  • Contribute to the development of new prototypes and testing methodologies for hydrogen storage solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external research partners, universities, and industry experts.
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific and technological advancements in hydrogen storage and related fields.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory best practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven experience in experimental research, preferably in hydrogen technologies or energy storage.
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, kinetics, and materials characterization techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Origin).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience with high-pressure gas systems or advanced spectroscopy techniques.
  • Familiarity with computational modeling or simulation tools for materials science.
  • Track record of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
