Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team in Garching, Bavaria. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. This role requires strong communication skills in English to ensure seamless coordination with an international team. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck) safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and move products and materials.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantity and condition of goods.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid forklift operator license (e.g., BGV D27, DGUV Grundsatz 308-001 or equivalent)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for effective communication.
• Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Physical fitness to perform duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP or similar.
• Knowledge of German language is a plus, but not required.
• Experience working in a large-scale international logistics operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
