Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hybrid ASIC Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Neusiedl am See. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the functional correctness and quality of complex Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). You will work within a hybrid model, combining on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work, contributing to the full verification lifecycle from planning to execution and debug. This position requires strong expertise in verification methodologies and a keen eye for detail to deliver high-quality semiconductor products.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement comprehensive verification test plans and testbenches for complex ASIC designs.
• Write, execute, and debug directed and constrained-random tests using industry-standard verification languages (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM).
• Analyze functional coverage and code coverage metrics to identify verification gaps and improve test effectiveness.
• Collaborate with design engineers to understand design specifications and review verification strategies.
• Develop and maintain verification environments, including reusable verification components and models.
• Perform root cause analysis of failures and work with the design team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies and flows.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on design for testability and verifiability.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM verification methodology.
• Strong understanding of digital design principles and ASIC architectures.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Cadence NCSim, Synopsys VCS, Mentor QuestaSim).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl).
• Solid understanding of functional and code coverage closure techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, hybrid environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with formal verification techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced verification methodologies like assertion-based verification (ABV).
• Familiarity with emulation or FPGA-based prototyping.
• Understanding of industry standards such as AMBA, PCIe, or USB.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
