Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hybrid Automotive Powertrain Engineer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge hybrid powertrain systems for our next-generation vehicles. You will work within a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new concepts from ideation to production, ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability meet the highest industry standards.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design, develop, and optimize hybrid powertrain components and systems, including engines, electric motors, batteries, and control units.
- Perform detailed simulation, modeling, and analysis of powertrain performance, fuel economy, and emissions.
- Integrate hybrid powertrain systems into overall vehicle architecture, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
- Develop and execute test plans for powertrain components and full vehicle systems, analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Ensure all designs and developments comply with relevant automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives related to powertrain development.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive powertrain engineering, specifically with hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, electric motors, power electronics, and battery systems.
- Proficiency in automotive design and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, AVL CRUISE, GT-SUITE).
- Experience with vehicle system integration and validation.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience with full vehicle development cycles from concept to production.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Proficiency in German language.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
