We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bruck an der Mur, Austria. This role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, keen to bridge the gap between traditional IT and modern cloud environments. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance for our critical systems. While this role is based in Austria, fluency in German is not a prerequisite as our team operates in an international, English-speaking environment. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions using platforms like Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc, and VMware on Azure.
• Administer and optimize on-premises virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) and integrate them with cloud services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Azure ARM templates.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery for hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate applications and services across hybrid infrastructures.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across hybrid cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on hybrid cloud strategies and solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident management as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience with public cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP a plus).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with network concepts (VPN, VNet peering, ExpressRoute).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Azure Stack HCI or Azure Arc.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with enterprise-level storage and backup solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
