Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Cyber Warfare Threat Analyst to join our specialized team in Wismar, Germany. This role is critical in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating advanced persistent threats (APTs) and sophisticated cyber-attacks targeting our systems and those of our clients in the defense and critical infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), along with expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and defensive cyber operations. This hybrid role requires a balance of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility, fostering a dynamic and innovative environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence to develop defensive strategies.
• Monitor global cyber developments, identifying new TTPs used in cyber warfare and state-sponsored attacks.
• Perform forensic analysis of cyber incidents, identifying root causes, and providing recommendations for remediation.
• Develop and implement threat hunting methodologies to proactively detect malicious activities within networks.
• Collaborate with intelligence agencies and international partners to share threat information and best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings on cyber threats, risks, and mitigation strategies for senior leadership and clients.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
• Participate in cyber defense exercises and simulations to test and improve response capabilities.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience as a Cyber Threat Analyst, Incident Responder, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cyber warfare concepts, including APTs, nation-state actors, and intelligence gathering.
• Expertise in network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection principles.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and forensic analysis tools.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, common networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC GCTI, GCFA, GCIH, OSCP, or similar.
• Experience in critical infrastructure protection (CIP) or defense sector cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering malware and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence platforms.
