Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid Mixed-Signal IC Designer to join our dynamic team in Magdeburg. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, and verification of complex mixed-signal integrated circuits for advanced semiconductor products. You will work on innovative solutions that integrate analog and digital functionalities, contributing to the development of next-generation technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on challenging projects with significant impact.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and implement complex mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) from concept to silicon.
• Perform detailed circuit simulations (SPICE, Verilog-A/AMS) to ensure functional correctness and performance.
• Conduct block-level and top-level verification, including mixed-signal co-simulation.
• Collaborate with system architects, digital design engineers, and layout teams to define specifications and ensure successful integration.
• Analyze and resolve design issues, including debug and characterization of silicon.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and design reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and design methodologies for mixed-signal ICs.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mixed-signal IC design.
• Proficiency in analog circuit design (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs, LDOs, Amplifiers).
• Strong understanding of digital design principles and RTL coding (Verilog/VHDL).
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS Designer).
• Solid understanding of semiconductor physics and device characteristics.
• Experience with mixed-signal verification methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with advanced process nodes (e.g., 28nm, 16nm, 7nm).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl).
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) for automotive applications.
• Prior experience in designing ICs for automotive, industrial, or power management applications.
