Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Pharmacology Researcher to join our dynamic R&D team in Amstetten, Austria. This unique role combines traditional wet-lab pharmacological research with advanced computational and data analysis techniques. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments to identify and validate novel drug targets and pharmacological mechanisms. A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for international collaboration and scientific communication.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo pharmacological experiments to investigate drug mechanisms and efficacy.
• Analyze complex biological datasets using statistical and computational tools.
• Develop and implement novel assay methodologies for high-throughput screening.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemists, biologists, and data scientists.
• Prepare detailed scientific reports, presentations, and contribute to scientific publications.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of experimental procedures and results.
• Present research findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in pharmacology and drug discovery.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical research or academic settings (post-degree).
• Proficiency in designing and conducting in vitro pharmacological assays (e.g., ELISA, Western Blot, cell culture, receptor binding).
• Experience with animal models for pharmacological studies (e.g., rodent models).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, GraphPad Prism) and data visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with omics data analysis (e.g., transcriptomics, proteomics).
• Familiarity with drug discovery pipelines and preclinical development.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
• Experience with liquid handling systems and laboratory automation.
• Proficiency in German is a plus, but not required.
