We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our team in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipeline assets within the energy sector. As a Hybrid Pipeline Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing robust pipeline integrity programs. This position operates on a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of on-site collaboration at our Stuttgart office and remote work flexibility, providing a balanced work-life environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and implement comprehensive pipeline integrity management systems in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments, fitness-for-service evaluations, and remaining life assessments for various pipeline assets.
• Manage, analyze, and interpret data from in-line inspections (ILI), external corrosion direct assessment (ECDA), and other integrity assessment tools.
• Oversee and provide technical guidance for pipeline repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide expert technical support for root cause analysis of pipeline failures and anomalies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, HSEQ, and project management.
• Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, industry standards, and regulatory changes in pipeline integrity management.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in pipeline integrity management within the Oil & Gas or energy sector.
• Proficiency in pipeline integrity assessment methodologies, including a strong understanding of standards such as API 579, ASME B31G, and DNVGL-ST-F101.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with integrity management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
• Experience with advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques relevant to pipeline integrity.
• In-depth knowledge of European pipeline regulations and standards.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management experience.
• Experience with cathodic protection systems and design.
