Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Hybrid Sports Performance Data Analyst to join our innovative Sports Tech division. In this role, you will be crucial in collecting, processing, and analyzing complex sports performance data to derive actionable insights. You will work closely with sports scientists, engineers, and product development teams to optimize athlete training, equipment, and overall performance strategies. This hybrid position requires a balance of on-site collaboration at our Opfikon office and remote work flexibility.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from various sports performance tracking systems and sensors.
• Develop and implement robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze performance trends and predict outcomes.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, and sports science teams to identify data-driven opportunities for innovation.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies and methodologies in improving athletic performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sports science, data analytics, and sports technology.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection protocols and analytical tools.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with sports science principles and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Sports Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge of wearable sensor data analysis and biomechanics.
• Previous experience in the sports industry or with athletic performance data.
• Proficiency in German is a plus.
