We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Global Clients team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with our most strategic global customers, understanding their complex needs, and driving the adoption of AVL’s cutting-edge solutions across various regions. You will act as a trusted advisor, coordinating internal resources to deliver exceptional value and ensure customer satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the sustained growth of AVL’s global business.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key global clients to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
- Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
- Identify and understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into tailored AVL solutions.
- Lead complex contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Coordinate internal teams (R&D, Sales, Service, Project Management) to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to global clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client developments to inform strategic planning.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and account reviews to senior management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial and strategic aspects of assigned global accounts.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Account Management or Business Development, specifically with global clients.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the automotive, powertrain, or related technology industries.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., German, Chinese, Japanese).
- Technical background in powertrain development, testing, or simulation.
