Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical M&A Analyst to join our esteemed Investment Boutique in La Chaux-de-Fonds. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to contribute to complex M&A transactions and strategic advisory projects. The M&A Analyst will play a crucial role in all phases of transaction execution, from pitch book preparation and financial modeling to due diligence and closing. You will work closely with senior bankers, gaining invaluable experience in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop complex financial models, including valuation (DCF, trading and transaction multiples) and accretion/dilution analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive client presentations, pitch books, and confidential information memoranda.
• Conduct in-depth industry research and analysis to identify market trends, potential targets, and strategic opportunities.
• Assist in due diligence processes, including coordinating with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
• Support the negotiation process by preparing term sheets, letters of intent, and other transaction documents.
• Maintain and update internal databases for tracking M&A activity and deal pipelines.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and research as required by ongoing mandates.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of an additional language (e.g., German, Italian) is a plus.
• CFA Level I candidacy or completion is desirable.
