Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical M&A Consultant to join our dynamic and growing team in Frankfurt am Main. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex cross-border transactions for a diverse range of clients, from multinational corporations to private equity funds. As an M&A Consultant, you will be integral to advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions, playing a key role in deal origination, execution, and closing. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of corporate finance principles, and excellent communication abilities, particularly in English, to support our international client base.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.
• Prepare comprehensive pitch books, information memoranda, and other transaction-related documents.
• Assist in the identification and assessment of potential M&A targets or buyers.
• Support the entire transaction process, from initial strategy development to negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with senior bankers, legal counsel, and other advisors to ensure seamless execution.
• Perform market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project management.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, or a similar analytical role within a reputable firm.
• Proven experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques (DCF, multiples, etc.), and transaction due diligence.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding, and team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Master's degree or MBA.
• CFA or other relevant professional certifications.
• Fluency in German or another European language is a plus.
• Experience with cross-border M&A transactions.
• Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
