We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter / Decorator to join our growing team in Bern. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about transforming spaces and delivering high-quality finishes. We value craftsmanship and a strong work ethic. Fluency in German is NOT a requirement for this role; we welcome applicants who are proficient in English and eager to contribute their skills to our diverse projects across the Bern region.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks and holes.
• Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and textures.
• Safeguard surrounding areas and furniture with drop cloths and tape.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and address any imperfections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members in English.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques (brush, roller, spray gun).
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment used in painting and decorating.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Formal training or certification in painting or decorating.
• Experience with specialized decorative finishes.
• Valid Swiss driver's license (Category B).
• Familiarity with Swiss building standards and materials.
