We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the heart of our culinary operations, ensuring the consistent quality and efficiency that Figlmüller is known for. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to perfection on the line during service, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for traditional Austrian cuisine, who thrive in a high-volume setting and are committed to culinary excellence and teamwork.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Execute daily prep tasks including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as knives, slicers, mixers, and cooking ranges.
- Cook menu items to exact specifications and quality standards during high-volume service periods.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area at all times, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate ingredient needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and storage of all food products.

- Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
