Join Siemens AG, a global powerhouse in technology and innovation, as a Procurement Specialist (English Speaking) at our dynamic Unterföhring location. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to our strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize our global supply chain. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services critical to our operations. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from our modern office in Unterföhring and remotely.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, quality, and prices.
  • Lead negotiation efforts with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing agreements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, production, finance) to understand procurement needs and align on strategies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for consolidation and process improvement.
  • Resolve procurement-related issues, including discrepancies with orders, invoices, and deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within a tech or industrial environment.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is mandatory for international communication and contract negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, SAP ECC).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
  • Experience with international procurement and diverse supply chains.
  • Knowledge of German is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with contract law and legal aspects of procurement.
