We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong focus on international sourcing to join our dynamic team in Zurich. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing complex international procurement projects, identifying new supply sources, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services globally. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, R&D, and logistics, to optimize our supply chain and support our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in global procurement.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop and execute international sourcing strategies to secure critical materials and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new global suppliers, conducting thorough due diligence.
• Lead complex contract negotiations with international vendors to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor global market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain risks, providing insights and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing activities with business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the international procurement process.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and ethical sourcing policies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in international procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, Mandarin) are a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of global logistics, customs, and trade compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle).
