This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented English native speaker to ensure the highest quality of content across a variety of projects. As a Proofreader/Editor, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of linguistic accuracy and stylistic consistency. You will review and refine English content, ensuring it is error-free, culturally appropriate, and aligns perfectly with client brand guidelines. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Proofread and edit English content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and style.
• Ensure consistency in terminology and adherence to specific client style guides and glossaries.
• Review translated content against source text for accuracy and completeness, where applicable.
• Provide constructive feedback to linguists and project managers to improve overall content quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Maintain and update style guides and reference materials as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on various types of content, including marketing materials, technical documents, and website copy.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native fluency in English with an exceptional command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in proofreading, editing, or quality assurance roles for English content.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for inconsistencies and errors.
• Familiarity with various style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP, client-specific).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs).
