Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Robotics Engineer to join our innovative research and development team in Weiz, Styria. This role is crucial for advancing our next-generation robotic systems and requires a strong background in robotics, control systems, and programming. The successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of robotics development, from conceptualization and simulation to prototyping and testing, contributing to cutting-edge projects with global impact. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and researchers, providing insights and solutions in an English-speaking research environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement advanced robotic algorithms and control systems.
• Conduct research into novel robotics applications, kinematics, dynamics, and perception.
• Develop and optimize software for robotic platforms using C++, Python, and ROS.
• Perform simulations and analyze data to validate robot performance and functionality.
• Participate in the prototyping, testing, and debugging of robotic hardware and software.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate robotic solutions into larger systems.
• Document research findings, technical specifications, and project progress.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics, AI, and automation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
• Extensive experience with Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.
• Experience with simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, CoppeliaSim).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) for research and team collaboration.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• PhD in Robotics or a closely related field.
• Experience with machine learning techniques for robotics (e.g., reinforcement learning, computer vision).
• Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and standards.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Publications in top-tier robotics conferences or journals.
• Knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
