As a Solutions Architect – Tech Pre-Sales at Siemens, you will play a crucial role at the intersection of technology, business, and client engagement. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, designing innovative technical solutions, and presenting them compellingly to prospective clients. This hybrid role involves collaborating closely with sales teams, product development, and delivery units to ensure the proposed solutions align with both client requirements and Siemens‘ strategic offerings. You will act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating the value and feasibility of complex technological solutions, primarily focusing on digital transformation, industrial IoT, and automation portfolios.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify customer opportunities, understand their business challenges, and gather technical requirements.
• Design and architect comprehensive technical solutions that address customer needs, leveraging Siemens' extensive portfolio of products and services.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept to prospective clients and key stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing deep technical insights and answering complex questions during the sales cycle.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, statements of work, and scope documents.
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback from the field and influence future product development.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
• Build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and credibility as a technical advisor.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), IoT solutions, and data analytics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and robust technical architectures.
• Experience with proposal writing and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
• Fluent in German and English.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
