Siemens Austria is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability Intern to join our remote team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices to gain practical experience with a global leader. You will contribute to various sustainability initiatives, research projects, and data analysis efforts that support our commitment to a net-zero future. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for environmental performance metrics (e.g., carbon emissions, energy consumption, waste management).
• Support the development and implementation of internal sustainability projects and campaigns.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and communication materials on sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and facilitate sustainability-related activities.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing our sustainability strategy.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability, environmental science, or corporate social responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB) or life cycle assessments.
• Experience with data visualization tools or environmental management software.
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in a sustainability-related role.
