Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sustainability Officer to join our dynamic team in Geneva. This pivotal role will focus on driving and implementing green initiatives across our operations, contributing significantly to Nestlé’s global sustainability agenda. The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and managing projects that enhance our environmental performance, reduce our carbon footprint, conserve resources, and promote sustainable practices throughout our value chain. You will work cross-functionally with various departments, translating strategic sustainability goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Lead the development and implementation of green initiatives, including waste reduction programs, energy efficiency projects, and water stewardship efforts.
- Conduct regular environmental performance assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D) to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations and new product development.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key environmental metrics and progress towards sustainability targets.
- Research and evaluate emerging green technologies and sustainable solutions for potential integration.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on sustainability performance for internal and external stakeholders.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SDGs), and carbon accounting principles.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from conception to completion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods industry.
- Certifications in environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) or sustainability reporting.
- Fluency in French and English.
