We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Consultant to join our International Tax and Corporate Advisory team in Rheine. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of international clients, advising them on complex tax matters, corporate structuring, and cross-border transactions. You will play a crucial role in providing strategic tax advice, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and supporting clients in optimizing their global tax positions. This position requires a deep understanding of international tax principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively to clients and colleagues.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Provide expert advice on international tax matters, including transfer pricing, BEPS initiatives, permanent establishments, and cross-border M&A.
• Assist clients with tax structuring for international investments, reorganizations, and financing arrangements.
• Prepare and review complex tax calculations and tax returns for multinational corporations.
• Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support client engagements and develop innovative tax solutions.
• Liaise with tax authorities, legal counsel, and other professional advisors on behalf of clients.
• Keep abreast of changes in international tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on clients.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of the team's technical expertise.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further engagement.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 4 years of experience in international tax within a Big Four firm or a leading corporate tax department.
• Solid understanding of German and international tax law, including double tax treaties and EU tax directives.
• Proven experience in corporate advisory, tax structuring, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex issues clearly.
• Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Master's degree in Taxation, Law, Finance, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• "Steuerberater" (German Tax Advisor) qualification or equivalent international certification (e.g., CTA).
• Experience with tax technology solutions and digital tools for tax compliance and planning.
• Prior experience working with clients in specific industries relevant to the Rheine region (e.g., manufacturing, logistics).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
