KPMG Austria is seeking a dedicated Werkstudent to join our dynamic Financial Reporting team in Wels. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports and statements.
• Support data collection, analysis, and validation for various financial projects.
• Contribute to the documentation of financial processes and internal controls.
• Perform research on accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with team members on ad-hoc financial tasks and projects.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and eager to learn.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Basic understanding of IFRS or Austrian GAAP.
• Previous internship or work experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Knowledge of German is a plus, but not mandatory for this specific role.
• Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems.
