We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at an onsite wind farm located near Coburg, Germany. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wind turbine generators and associated equipment. This position requires a strong technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions and at heights. You will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our wind energy assets, contributing directly to the sustainable energy supply.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
• Conduct thorough inspections of turbine components, identifying potential faults and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records accurately.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance requirements, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to optimize turbine performance and operational efficiency.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with new technologies and maintenance practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven technical training or degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with wind turbines or similar heavy industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, possessing a valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and data entry.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Certified Wind Turbine Technician qualification.
• Experience with specific turbine platforms (e.g., Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Enercon).
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and turbine control software.
• Proficiency in German language (B2 level or higher).
• Experience with crane operations or heavy lifting equipment.
