Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Legal team in Berlin. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a law student to gain practical experience in a dynamic global technology company. You will primarily focus on legal research, analysis, and support for our English-speaking legal operations, making your fluency in German unnecessary for this specific role. You will work closely with experienced legal professionals on a variety of interesting and challenging tasks.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct comprehensive legal research across various jurisdictions using online databases and other resources, specifically focusing on English-language materials.
• Summarize complex legal documents, case law, statutes, and regulations into concise and actionable reports for the legal team.
• Assist with the review and organization of legal documents, contracts, and other materials.
• Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling, data entry, and file management.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal legal knowledge management systems.
• Support ad-hoc legal projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law.
• Demonstrable strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using online legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar academic resources).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior experience (e.g., internship, working student role) in a legal department, law firm, or research institution.
• Familiarity with international law, privacy law, intellectual property, or technology regulations.
• Strong interest in the technology industry and its legal challenges.
• Additional language skills are a plus, but not required.
