Are you a motivated student looking to gain practical experience in the dynamic world of logistics and warehouse operations? DB Schenker in Linz is offering an exciting opportunity for a Working Student (Werkstudent) to support our logistics team. This role provides an excellent chance to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, contribute to key operational tasks, and learn from experienced professionals in a leading global logistics company. You will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with inbound and outbound logistics processes, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods.
• Support inventory management activities, including stock checks and data entry into our warehouse management system.
• Help prepare shipments and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for optimizing warehouse operations.
• Undertake general administrative tasks as required by the logistics team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a university or college program, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good command of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work approximately 15-20 hours per week.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous practical experience (e.g., internship, part-time job) in logistics or a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• A valid forklift license (though not mandatory, training can be provided).
