Are you a highly motivated student with a passion for zoology and an aptitude for data? The Institute of Animal Science at the University of Münster is seeking a dedicated Working Student to support our research team with critical data management and analysis tasks. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with the collection, entry, and organization of zoological data from various sources.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support researchers in basic data analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Excel).
• Help maintain and update scientific databases and data repositories.
• Prepare summary reports and visualizations of data findings.
• Collaborate effectively with international research teams and adhere to data privacy guidelines.
• Learn and apply new data management and analysis techniques as required by projects.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Zoology, Biology, Ecology, Data Science, or a related scientific field.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for data handling.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data entry and manipulation.
