Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our team remotely. This crucial role involves recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing our network of English-speaking volunteers who support various administrative, outreach, and project-based initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a deep understanding of volunteer management best practices, and a strong commitment to MSF’s humanitarian mission. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in Germany.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies for English-speaking volunteers.
- Manage the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Organize and deliver comprehensive training programs and workshops for volunteers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all English-speaking volunteers, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on their skills, interests, and availability.
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and contact information.
- Implement recognition and retention initiatives to ensure volunteer satisfaction and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify volunteer needs and develop new opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all volunteer activities comply with MSF policies and relevant regulations.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proven experience in volunteer coordination or similar community engagement roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and volunteer management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Management, Social Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience working within a humanitarian or non-profit organization.
- Knowledge of German language is a plus.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and virtual team dynamics.
