Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Flight Booker to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, booking, and managing flight itineraries for our diverse client base. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Germany, ensuring you can deliver exceptional service with flexibility. Fluency in English is essential, as you will primarily assist English-speaking customers and coordinate with global travel partners. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for travel.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Research and identify optimal flight routes, schedules, and fares for domestic and international travel requests.
- Book, modify, and cancel flight reservations accurately and efficiently using GDS (Global Distribution System) or proprietary booking tools.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to clients regarding their travel plans, changes, and options.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to flight bookings, including delays, cancellations, and re-bookings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, fare rules, and travel regulations.
- Process payments and manage booking confirmations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for clients.
- Document all client interactions and booking details accurately in the system.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using flight booking systems or GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Previous experience in a travel agency, airline, or corporate travel department
- Knowledge of an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish)
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
