We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our innovative team in Duisburg, Germany. This internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring engineers to gain hands-on experience in a leading global industrial company. You will work on real-world projects, supporting our engineering teams in various stages of design, analysis, and implementation. This role is ideal for students looking to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, fast-paced environment. Crucially, no prior German language skills are required, as our team operates in English.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist senior mechanical engineers with design, analysis, and testing of components and systems.
• Perform CAD modeling and drafting of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Conduct research and gather technical data to support ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the development of prototypes and test setups.
• Analyze test results and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving sessions.
• Support the optimization of existing processes and designs.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science).
• Proficiency in at least one CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

• Previous internship or project experience in a relevant industrial setting.
• Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus).
