We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated English Speaking RF Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team in Erfurt. This hybrid role requires a strong background in radio frequency planning, optimization, and performance analysis within cellular networks (4G/5G). As a Lead, you will guide a team of RF engineers, ensure project delivery, and contribute significantly to the design and deployment of cutting-edge wireless solutions. You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence and innovation within our RF domain, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve network performance targets and strategic objectives.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead a team of RF engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Oversee RF network planning, design, and optimization for 4G/5G networks.
• Conduct advanced RF analysis, troubleshooting, and performance improvement activities.
• Develop and implement RF strategies to meet network capacity, coverage, and quality targets.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging RF technologies and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to management and clients.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 6 years of experience in RF engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in 4G (LTE) and 5G NR network design, planning, and optimization.
• Expertise with RF planning tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, iBwave).
• Strong understanding of RF propagation, antenna theory, and link budget analysis.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for international collaboration.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with scripting or programming for automation (e.g., Python).
• Knowledge of other wireless technologies (e.g., IoT, CBRS).
• Fluency in German is a plus.
• PMP or other project management certification.
