We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver with C/CE license to join our dynamic team in Graz, Austria. This crucial role involves transporting goods across various routes, primarily within Austria and neighboring countries, while effectively communicating with our English-speaking dispatch team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional driving skills, along with the ability to maintain clear and concise communication with dispatchers.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) with C/CE licenses for the transport of various goods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Load and unload goods, securing cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies, including tachograph rules and driving hours.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with English-speaking dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any unforeseen issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Handle all necessary paperwork, including waybills, delivery notes, and customs documentation if applicable.
• Represent DB Schenker professionally at all times.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid EU Driving License Category C and CE.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional truck driving experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with dispatch.
• Demonstrated knowledge of road safety regulations and driving laws.
• Experience with cargo securing techniques.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
