We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NDT Technician to join our industrial inspection team in Wismar. As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for performing various non-destructive testing methods on critical industrial components and structures. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of assets for our diverse client base. This role requires a strong understanding of NDT principles, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. You will work independently and as part of a team, utilizing advanced equipment to detect defects and provide accurate inspection reports.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform non-destructive tests (e.g., UT, PT, MT, VT, ET, RT interpretation) on industrial components and structures according to established procedures and industry standards.
• Interpret and evaluate test results against applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and relevant documentation.
• Operate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies during all inspection activities.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand inspection requirements and provide technical support.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance NDT expertise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues as needed.
• Travel to various client sites within the region as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Certified in at least two NDT methods (e.g., UT, PT, MT, VT) to EN ISO 9712 Level 2 or equivalent.
• Proven experience in industrial inspection environments (e.g., power generation, oil & gas, manufacturing, marine).
• Strong understanding of NDT principles, applications, and limitations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using NDT software and standard office applications.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Additional NDT method certifications (e.g., ET, RT interpretation, PAUT, TOFD).
• Vocational training or degree in material science, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with specialized inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with German industrial standards and regulations.
