Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our international team in Graz, Austria. This role is crucial for providing expert technical assistance to our global customer base, primarily in English, ensuring their AVL products and solutions operate efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues related to software and hardware, providing clear and concise solutions, and contributing to our knowledge base. This position comes with full relocation support to help you smoothly transition to life in Graz.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Provide first and second-level technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions to global customers.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AVL's software and hardware products.
• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the knowledge base and incident management system.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
• Conduct remote diagnostics and system health checks.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and efficient support.
• Participate in training and development to stay updated with product advancements.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably with software and hardware products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of IT systems, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and network protocols.
• Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Fluency in German or another major European language.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with AVL's specific products or similar engineering tools (e.g., simulation software, testbed systems).
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
• Experience in the automotive or engineering industry.
