Are you a proactive and enthusiastic student with a passion for textile engineering and a desire to gain hands-on experience in a leading global company? Lenzing AG is looking for a Working Student to join our innovative Textile Engineering team in Meidling, Vienna. This is an excellent opportunity for students enrolled in a relevant technical or scientific program (e.g., Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science) to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world industrial setting. We value diverse perspectives and are fully open to candidates who are comfortable working in English. You will support our team in various projects, contributing to the development and optimization of sustainable fiber solutions and textile processes.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist with laboratory experiments and material testing related to textile fibers and fabrics.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing research and development projects.
• Contribute to the optimization of existing textile processes and the development of new applications.
• Prepare samples for analysis and documentation of test results.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers on various tasks.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Strong theoretical understanding of textile materials, fibers, and processing.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Basic laboratory experience and familiarity with standard lab equipment.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Prior internship or working student experience in a relevant industry.
• Knowledge of statistical software or data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with sustainability concepts in the textile industry.
• Basic knowledge of German is a plus, but not required.
