We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Carpet Roll Handler to join our logistics and sales support team in Floridsdorf, Vienna. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and preparation of carpet rolls and other flooring materials. This position requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively in English, ensuring smooth operations in our dynamic retail environment. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely load and unload carpet rolls and other flooring materials from delivery trucks.
• Transport carpet rolls using appropriate equipment (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks) to designated storage areas.
• Organize and maintain the carpet storage section, ensuring materials are easily accessible and neatly arranged.
• Accurately measure and cut carpet rolls according to customer specifications or inventory needs.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and sales floor.
• Collaborate with sales staff to fulfill customer orders and special requests.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy carpet rolls (up to 50 kg) repeatedly.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English for effective communication.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate measurements and inventory management.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Experience with cutting or handling large rolls of material.
• Knowledge of basic German is a plus, but not required.
