Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Ceramic Tile Sorter to join our quality control team in Bern. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to the high standards of a renowned Swiss manufacturer. As a Ceramic Tile Sorter, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting ceramic tiles, identifying defects, and ensuring that only products meeting our rigorous quality specifications are approved for distribution. We welcome candidates who are new to the industry, and a basic understanding of English is beneficial for communication within our diverse team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform visual inspection of ceramic tiles for defects such as chips, cracks, uneven glazing, discoloration, and size variations.
• Categorize and sort tiles based on quality standards and specifications.
• Operate basic material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after training.
• Maintain accurate records of sorted tiles, defect rates, and inventory movements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and quality output.
• Assist with packing and preparing sorted tiles for shipment as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• High level of attention to detail and ability to spot minute imperfections.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately for extended periods.
• Basic comprehension of English for instructions and team communication.
