We are seeking a talented and motivated English Speaking Computer Vision Specialist to join our innovative team in Linz. This hybrid role involves developing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision solutions for our industrial automation and digital industries portfolio. You will be instrumental in designing, testing, and deploying algorithms for object detection, tracking, and recognition, contributing to smarter, more efficient industrial processes. This position requires strong programming skills, a deep understanding of computer vision principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms and models for industrial applications.
• Perform data collection, annotation, and augmentation for training and validating computer vision models.
• Integrate computer vision solutions into existing software and hardware systems.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance, ensuring robustness and efficiency in real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, machine learning, and AI research.
• Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and presentations.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Strong experience with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image).
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of image processing, feature extraction, and machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with real-time computer vision systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying CV models.
• Knowledge of industrial automation protocols and systems.
• Experience with 3D computer vision or augmented reality applications.
• German language skills are a plus.
