Opel Automobile GmbH is looking for a strategic and dynamic Head of Product – Product Management to join our innovative team in Eisenach. This pivotal role involves leading the product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for key product lines, ensuring they meet market needs, business objectives, and customer expectations. You will be responsible for defining product vision, roadmaps, and requirements, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product portfolios, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and unmet needs.
• Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization, development, launch, to end-of-life, ensuring successful execution and market performance.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, design, engineering, marketing, sales, and external partners to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market strategies.
• Manage product budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize product success.
• Act as a key spokesperson for the product, both internally and externally, representing Opel's vision and innovation.
• Ensure products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven leadership experience in product management, preferably within the automotive or related high-tech industries.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable product plans and roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and product development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing product teams.
• Proficiency in market analysis, competitive landscaping, and customer segmentation.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a significant advantage.
